Bengaluru, July 29 - Dr D.Y. Patil Cricket Academy, Mumbai, were in commanding position and in sight of victory against Andhra CA, who after conceding a first innings lead of 237 runs, were 13 for three at stumps on the second day of the four-day match in the KSCA All-India cricket tournament here on Tuesday.

Patil Academy, following a fine century by Vikrant Auti (247b, 14x4) were all out for 370 and then dismissed Andhra for 133 with left-arm spinner Iqbal Abdullah taking four for 27. Following-on, Andhra lost three early wickets and were facing defeat with two more days remaining.

Himachal Pradesh CA were also in strong position against Assam CA who were 139 for nine in their first innings in reply to their rivals' total of 413 all out.

R. Samarth blasted 187 (366b, 18x4, 1x6) to help KSCA XI make 335 for five against Orissa CA who were all out for 195. Samarth and Shishir Bhavane (69) added 153 runs to lay the foundation for a big total. 

A century by Baba Aparajith (109 not out, 203b, 8x4, 1x6) held Tamil Nadu CA innings together as they ended the first day on 258 for six against Vidharbha CA in Mysuru.
