If England had thought they had could restrict India under 250, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah had different plans. A counter-attacking inning by the Indian tailenders meant the lead went close to 100. Bumrah, in particular, was in charge of striking boundaries, and even a six!
However, it was just a matter of time that one of them mistimed a shot to put an end to the Indian innings on 278. Ollie Robinson ended up taking a fifer while James Anderson took four wickets.
