Amidst this, in the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore & Rajasthan Royals, young RR batter Riyan Parag and RCB pacer Harshal Patel were seen indulging in a verbal spat.
After being put in to bat first, Rajasthan managed to post 144 runs in 20 overs. Riyan Parag was the top scorer and hero for the Royals in this inning. The young batter scored an unbeaten 56 runs in 31 balls with 3 fours & 4 sixes. After Rajasthan Royals played out their 20 overs and the batters were walking back towards the pavilion, Riyan Parag was seen arguing with Harshal Patel.

Riyan Parag turned around and Harshal Patel was seen hurling some words at the batter. In reply, Harshal Patel also lost his temper. The situation seemed to fir up between the two players but RR"s DIshant Yagnik interfered and stopped the situation from going worse.

While talking about the match, RCB captain Faf du Plessis won the toss & opted to field first against Rajasthan Royals in the 39th match of IPL 2022. While writing this piece, RCB are at 59/4 after 10.1 overs, with Suyash Prabhudessai and Shabaz Ahmed at the crease for RCB. Bangalore required another 86 runs in 59 balls to win this match. This game is being played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
