Dubai, Aug 27 - The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday released an Invitation To Tender (ITT) for LIVE Cinema Screening Rights to next year's World Cup.

Established cinema chains, individual cineplexes and theatres are being offered the opportunity to submit proposals for regional or worldwide rights, for which the ITT will provide further details.

Media rights agencies can also bid to syndicate the rights on behalf of the ICC.

"Cinema screenings offer a unique opportunity to diversify the coverage of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and engage with families and other fans, in a social environment where the purpose is to enjoy watching cricket and be entertained."

"We are looking forward to partnering with interested parties, around the world, and connecting with existing fans and a whole new audience of cricket followers," she added.
