Day 4 : India captain Virat Kohli along with the team management decided to declare the first innings on their overnight score of 462/6 and put Bangladesh in to bat in the one-off cricket Test here on early Saturday morning.

Rain had curtailed play on the first and third day and had totally washed out the second day leading India to declare and give their bowlers and fielders some match practice. Though the morning has been sunny, rain has also been predicted for Day 4.

Openers Murali Vijay (150) and Shikhar Dhawan (173) had top-scored for the visitors with middle-order bat Ajinkya Rahane also playing a handy 98.

Bangladeshi pacers were totally unsuccessful but ace tweaker Shakib Al Hasan clinched another four-wicket haul, giving away 105 runs from 24.3 overs. Leg-spinner Jubair Hossain also picked up 2/113 from his 19 overs.

Day 2- Rain delayed the start of the second day's play of the lone Test between India and Bangladesh at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium here on Thursday.

Play was supposed to start half an hour earlier than the scheduled time as showers washed away 34 overs of play on Wednesday and only 56 overs were bowled in which India scored 239 runs without losing a single wicket.

Openers Sikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay are unbeaten on 150 and 89 respectively
