India vs England, 3rd ODI Match Preview:

Indian batsmen scored a challenging total despite a poor start to the innings. Both Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan failed to get going as India could not take advantage of the powerplay. Virat Kohli once again looked in sublime touch while KL Rahul smashed a century. The addition of Rishabh Pant in the middle order added firepower in the batting.

The bowling has been a cause of concern for India. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been economical, the rest of the bowlers have been too expensive. Krunal Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav haven't made much of an impact in these two games. Kuldeep Yadav might get replaced by either Yuzvendra Chahal or T Natarajan depending on how the management interprets the conditions, which haven't been favorable for the spinners.

England proved once again why their aggressive batting approach is beneficial. The top-order rocked Indian bowlers as they chased down a fairly challenging total with ease. Jonny Bairstow is in solid form and so is Jason Roy, they both are some of the best openers in modern-day ODI. Liam Livingstone could be the X-factor as he is another hard-hitting batsman who could turn the match away single-handedly.

The bowlers have been disciplined. Reece Topley had a good outing with the ball and might continue to open the bowing in the next game. England might go in with the same playing XI for the 3rd ODI.

The series has gone into the decider once again after England thrashed India in the 2nd ODI. The hosts will be looking to come back hard in the final of a long series.
