Powerful hitting from Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan powers Mumbai Indians(MI) to 200/5 against Delhi Capitals(DC) in the first qualifier of IPL 2020.
Earlier, DC captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted bowl first. Mumbai went off to a flying start as they scored 63 runs inside the powerplay despite losing the wicket of Rohit Sharma early in the innings.

Suryakumar Yadav(51) and Quinton de Kock(40) added 62 runs for the second wicket in 37 balls. Yadav smashed two sixes and six fours during his knock while de Kock hit five fours and a six.
MI lost three quick wickets in the middle which brought DC back into the game. However, Hardik Pandya(37*) and Ishan Kishan(55*) made sure Mumbai finished well.
MI scored 78 runs in the last five overs in which 55 runs came in the final three. Pandya smashed five sixes during his innings while Kishan hit four fours and three sixes.
For DC, R Ashwin took three wickets in his four overs while conceding 29 runs.
