Brisbane, 25th Feb - Ireland beat United Arab Emirates by 2 wickets in their Pool B match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the Brisbane Cricket Ground today here.

William Porterfield: When you have wickets in hand with guys like Wilson and Kevin, it makes a difference. The confidence is high within the squad. It was nice to win a game here. We have to keep up the performances. We played well with the bat after 30 overs, and that turned the game. 

Mohammad Tauqir: It was a decent batting effort. Shiman played a decent knock, it was a very good innings, full credit to him, he proved it today. Initially after 35 overs we bowled well. Later on the dew factor came in and the ball became slightly wet. It was not helping the seamers, it was a good batting wicket and they batted well. It went close to the wire. 

Gary Wilson: Nice to come back and make a good contribution. I was confident when I came out to bat. I batted a lot with Kevin, it was great having a partner like that. We may need four wins to qualify, but we will take it game by game.
