Ishan Kishan is one of the top upcoming cricketers in India. He has already made his limited-overs debut and is a crucial part of the IPL franchise Mumbai Indians' set up since 2019. 

During the IPL 2021, a hilarious incident happened in the MI dressing room involving legendary Indian cricketer & MI team mentor, Sachin Tendulkar, and Ishan Kishan. The viral video of the incident showed how Ishan walked into the dressing room with shades and AirPods on. Sachin was already sitting in the dressing room and the whole room turned into laughter. 

Now, in the recent interview with Gaurav Kapoor's show 'Breakfast with Champions', Ishan revealed what actually happened in that incident. 

"So that time, I, Mohsin(Khan), and Yudhvir(Singh) were in the team. We were all on the same team. We'd go everywhere together and because I had extra stuff, I'd ask them to help me carry it. I was on phone, listening to music, and when I looked up, they had disappeared," Ishan said. 

"So I was angry and had to carry everything myself to the dressing room. As soon as I entered, I spotted him and cursed him. Then I see Mohsin is gesturing. I was wondering why he's doing that. I look the other way and Sachin Paaji was sitting there. I immediately removed my shades and was thinking, 'how did I used such language in front of Sachin Paaji'. I quickly removed my AirPods and said 'Good Afternoon'," Kishan revealed.

The 23-year-old Ishan Kishan wasn't retained by Mumbai Indians but they bought him back for 15.25 crore INR in the recently held IPL 2022 Auction.
