KL Rahul Goes For Golden Duck Against 19-Year Old Naseem Shah; Watch Video Here
Indian opener KL Rahul was dismissed for a golden duck against Pakistan debutant 19-year-old Naseem Shah.
KL Rahul recently returned to international cricket after a long gap due to injury. Prior to Asia Cup, KL Rahul was seen leading team India in the ODI series against Zimbabwe where he was silent with the bat. However, given his reputation, KL was handed the captaincy on his comeback series and has also been given a spot in the Indian playing XI against Pakistan in Asia Cup. However, KL Rahul flopped on his return to T20I and was dismissed without opening his run account against Pakistan.
Surprisingly or not, KL Rahul yet again disappointed both his fans and the team. Against Pakistan, the batter was dismissed by debutant Naseem Shah for a golden duck. KL Rahul's wicket was grabbed by 19-year old Naseem Shah with his pace. Naseem's delivery clocked 142 KPH where KL Rahul was left clueless with the line of the bowl and the ball took the inside edge of the bat, going on to dislodge the stumps.

It is noteworthy that KL Rahul was preferred over many deserving players in the playing XI. Explosive batter Rishabh Pant couldn't find his place in the playing XI against Pakistan while Deepak Hooda, who is in red-hot form was also benched to give KL Rahul his place in the team. However, KL Rahul yet again flopped and failed to justify his selection in the team and was seen disappointed after losing his wicket.
