India vs Sri Lanka: Rohit Sharma became the leading run-scorer in T20I cricket in the ongoing 1st T20I match as he crossed the score of 37. However, soon after achieving this feat, Sharma was fooled by Lahiru Kumara as the Indian skipper missed out on his fifty.
Rohit Sharma smacked 2 fours and a six to score 44 runs off 32 balls and wisely rotated the strike to keep in rhythm with Ishan Kishan on the batting end. However, after the first 11 overs were wicketless for Sri Lanka, Rohit was clean bowled with an intelligent delivery from Lahiru Kumara.
On the 5th delivery of the 12th over, Kumara bowled a slower delivery which kept low. Rohit Sharma read the change of pace but was beaten by lack of bounce as the ball went below the Indian captain's bat and pegged the off-stump.
