Lucknow Super Giants move into the top four after winning against Mumbai Indians.
A super Sunday game saw KL Rahul smacking his 2nd century of the season against the same opponents within the gap of eight days to help Lucknow Super Giants defeat Mumbai Indians by 36 runs.
On being asked to bat first, LSG posted a par total of 168/6 courtesy of KL Rahul's unbeaten 103. In reply, MI could only manage to score 132/8 in 20 overs as the five-time IPL champions succumbed to the eighth straight loss of IPL 2022.

After the win, the Super Giants have placed themselves at the fourth spot with 10 points, which they share with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. While Gujarat Titans are at the top with 12 points, SRH, RR, and RCB are at 2nd, 3rd, and 5th spots respectively.
Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Punjab Kings fill the 6th, 7th, and 8th positions with six points each. Chennai Super Kings are in ninth place with four points while Mumbai Indians are yet to win a match this season.

Latest Orange Cap Holder
Jos Buttler is way ahead of the rest with 491 runs, leading the orange cap race. KL Rahul is slowly catching up with him with 368 runs to be at the second spot while Hardik Pandya is at the third spot with 295 runs.
