Australia crush England by 405 runs to win Lord's Test. Level series 1-1

16th July, Lords (CRICKETNMORE) - Chris Rogers (158*), Steven Smith (129*) take Australia to 337/1 at stumps on Day 1 against England at Lord's cricket ground here.

 

England are leading the 5 match series by 1-0 after they beat Australia by 169 runs in the first Test at Cardiff.

Alastair Cook is set to captain an unchanged England side whereas Australia will drop Shane Watson. He will be replaced by fellow all-rounder Mitchell Marsh. Watson will be one of two changes to the Australian side for the second Test, with veteran wicketkeeper Brad Haddin withdrawing for personal reasons and replaced by debutant Peter Nevill,
