The hosts, however, clinched the three-match series 2-1 having won both the earlier matches.

"It is pleasing to get a win but there are a lot of areas we need to improve. We need to decide whether we want really quick bowlers or bowlers who don't bowl quickly but bowl in the right lines and lengths," Dhoni said at the post match presentation ceremony here.

The skipper praised the hosts saying, "Bangladesh are a very good side, they have become more consistent lately. Overall if you see the unit, the Bangladeshi team is a very good one."

The 33-year-old said over 300 runs on the board made life easier for the bowlers to defend the total.

"What was important for us was to put runs on the board and that's what we did in this game. If you give your bowlers extra 15-20 runs, it becomes easier for them. On slow wickets, you sometimes feel that you are behind the par score, but if you have wickets in hand, you can score more runs in the last overs," he said

"We knew that if we had good partnerships, we can get a good score. That's why we kept Suresh Raina for later, so that he can come out and play naturally," Dhoni concluded.
