A complete team performance saw Lucknow Super Giants blow away Kolkata Knight Riders by 75 runs in the match 53 of the IPL 2022 played at Pune's MCA Stadium.
Chasing 177, KKR got off to the worst possible start as they were reduced to 25/4 in 6.5 overs. Baba Indrajith, Aaron Finch, Shreyas Iyer, and Nitish Rana all went back to the pavilion cheaply.

Rinku Singh and Andre Russell then added 44 runs in 26 balls. Russell was absolutely hammering the ball and Rinku was happy to give him singles. Their partnership was broken in the 12th over and then the rest of the wickets fell like a pack of cards.
In 14.3 overs, the Knight Riders got bowled out for 101 runs, falling short of Lucknow's total of 176. Avesh Khan and Jason Holder picked up three wickets each while the rest got one wicket each.
Earlier, a collective batting performance took the Super Giants to 176/7 in the first inning.
Despite losing KL Rahul in the first over itself, Quinton de Kock and Deepak Hooda managed to give a terrific start to the team - 66/1 in the first six overs. De Kock smashed 50 off 29 balls before getting out in the eighth over. Hooda scored 41 in 27 balls.
Even though KKR pulled things back in the middle overs but Marcus Stoinis and Jason Holder boosted LSG's total as they combined to smack 30 runs in one Shivam Mavi over to get the score past the 175-run mark.
