KKR vs LSG IPL 2022: Lucknow's openers were Super Giants against Knight Riders, smacking an unbeaten opening partnership of over 200 runs in 20 overs. Amidst this, De Kock & KL Rahul took on New Zealand pacer Tim Southee in the 19th over, taking him for 4 sixes in the same over.

Lucknow Super Giants' openers left no stone unturned in completely routing the Kolkata Knight Riders' bowling, smacking a total of 13 fours & 14 sixes. In the 10th over of the innings, KL Rahul smacked Tim Southee for two consecutive sixes in the 10th over. In the 19th over of the innings, the openers displayed excellent finishing skills.

Tim Southee was brought on to bowl the 19th over of the innings and bowled the first delivery outside off. Rahul cleared his legs and clubbed it straight back down to the sightscreen for a six. 

On the fourth delivery, Southee bowled wide outside off length, which was slapped over long-on for a six. The following delivery was yet again outside off and yet again the long-on fielder watched it fly over his head for a six. The next delivery was pitched outside off in the slot and was muscled over long-on for the third consecutive six.

Earlier, Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss & opted to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 66th match of IPL 2022. With the help of Quinton de Kock's unbeaten century and captain KL Rahul's unbeaten fifty, LSG posted 210/0 in 20 overs. This match is being played at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai.
