Head coach Micky Arthur and captain Dasun Shanaka were involved in a heated argument after Sri Lanka's defeat against India in the 2nd ODI at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The video of the Sri Lanka coach and captain arguing on the field went viral on social media.
Arthur looked frustrated throughout Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar's match-winning 84-run partnership and was seen making animated gestures. After Chahar finished off the game in the last over, the Sri Lankan head coach came inside the field and was seen having an argument with the new captain Shanaka.

Former Sri Lanka batter, Russel Arnold, wasn't impressed with Arthur and Shanaka's angry talk inside the field and felt that these things should be happening in the dressing room.

India, at one stage, was down to 193/7 in the 35th over with all the batters back in the Pavillion. It was fast bowlers Deepak Chahar(69*) and Kumar(19*) that saw India home and chased a 276-run target with five balls to spare.
It was Sri Lanka’s 10th successive ODI series loss to India as hosts.
