8th August (CRICKETNMORE) - Pakistan captain Misbah-Ul-Haq gave full credit to the England bowlers after suffering a humiliating defeat by 141 runs in the thrid test. During the presentation ceremony he said, "I think it was going well till the second day but the game changed on the third day. We lost a couple of wickets. I was unlucky to get out and Younis was caught down the leg side. We bowled a little indisciplined in the session where England took it away from us,".

On England's Bowling

Full credit to England - the way they bowled. The ball was reversing and they bowled good areas, taking four of our main batsmen. We have to send some of our bowlers to learn reverse swing from England. They are really bowling it well. England kept coming hard at us. Most of the time, we were really competitive.

On Pakistan Bowlers

Moeen Ali partnership took things away on day 4. That's a problem for a long, long time (on not having an all-rounder for a 5-man attack). This is what we have. We will obviously try to get someone ready for that. Our bowlers are just bowlers and need to contribute more, like that Sohail-Rahat partnership.

On Youngsters

Sami and Azhar showed character in the first innings. Good to see a youngster play like that in tough conditions.

On Younis Khan Poor Form

It is a concern, especially Younis Khan. We know he is a top performer, our leading scorer and has played such an important role in Pakistan’s Test cricket. Him not scoring runs is a concern but there is no doubt he could come back at any stage, any time. We believe in him.

With a series victory now out of the question for the tourists, Thursday’s fourth Test at the Oval represents a chance to finish up all square. England won the 3rd test by 141 runs to take 2-1 lead in the test series against Pakistan.
