CSK vs SRH IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings' all-rounder Moeen Ali played a crucial knock of 48 runs in 35 balls to help his team to a defendable total against Sunrisers Hyderabad. During this inning, the #3 batter for CSK smacked three fours 2 sixes. However, one of his sixes almost hurt the scorer. 

In the 15th over the Chennai, batting was being bowled by Aiden Markram, and on the 4th delivery, Moeen Ali smacked it for an 86-metre six over long-on. The ball went straight on to hit the scoreboard and scared the scorer. It was a matter of fortune that the scorer was saved before an unfortunate incident took place.

However, Moeen Ali lost his wicket on the very next delivery as he gave a catch to Rahul Tripathi in the long-on area in an effort to play a big shot. When Moeen came on to bat, Chennai's score read 36/2 in 5.1 overs, after which Ali smacked 48 runs and was dismissed when the team total read 108/4 in 15.4 overs.

While talking about the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson won the toss & opted to bowl first against Chennai Super Kings. Chennai posted a total of 154/7 in 20 overs with 48 runs from Moeen Ali. Ambati Rayudu contributed with 27 runs in 27 balls while captain Jadeja made a useful 23 runs in 15 balls. For SRH, Washington Sundar & T Natarajan picked up 2 wickets each while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Marco Jansen and Markram picked 1 wicket each. Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down the total with 8 wickets and 14 balls remaining as opener Abhishek Sharma smacked 75 runs in 50 balls.
