T20 Blast 2022 - In less than 24 hours after being brought in as a replacement for Naseem Shah in the Gloucestershire team, Mohammad Amir has immediately garnered attention. In the ongoing T20 Blast 2022 tournament, Mohammad Amir made his mark as soon as he took the field. Amir made his debut for Gloucesterhsire against Somerset. The former Pakistani pacer went on to dismiss Will Smeed and Ben Green to prove his mettle. In the third ball of the Somerset innings, Amir got rid of Smeed with the help of a full-length delivery.
The batter was completely surprised and taken aback by Mohammad Amir's delivery, sending an easy and straight catch to Ben Howell in the slips. After registering his first wicket for Gloucestershire, Mohammad Amir brought out a move from the famous Indian film, 'Pushpa - The Rise', de[icting a famous dance move by the renowned actor Allu Arjun in the film.
Gloucestershire uploaded a video of the same on their official Twitter account, which is now being shared by the users in numbers. While talking about the match, along with a maiden over, Mohammad Amir gave away just 25 runs in his quota of 4 overs while registering two wickets to his name. Unluckily, the sharp bowling by Mohammad Amir couldn't win the match for his team.
