Mohammad Kaif Names His All-Time IPL XI; Includes Six Overseas Players!
Former Indian cricketer and current broadcaster, Mohammad Kaif has named Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli in his all-time IPL XI.
Former Indian cricketer and current broadcaster, Mohammad Kaif has named his all-time IPL XI. The former player has, however, included only five Indians in his all-time Indian Premier League XI, accompanied by six overseas players. Kaif has named MS Dhoni as the captain of this all-time XI.
In this all-time IPL XI, West Indies' Chris Gayle and Indian captain Rohit Sharma are the openers. The Universe Boss has registered 4,965 runs in 142 matches, with six centuries and 31 fifties to his name, averaging 39.72 with a strike rate of 148.96. Indian captain Rohit Sharma on the other hand has scored 5,764 runs in 221 matches, with 40 fifties to his name.

Kaif has named former Indian captain Virat Kohli at #3. Kohli is the leading run scorer in the IPL, with 6,411 runs in 216 matches with 42 fifties and 5 centuries to his name. 'Mr. IPL' Suresh Raina is next in this list. Raina has scored 5,528 runs in his IPL career in 205 matches, with 39 fifties and a century.
On #5, Kaif has named AB de Villiers, one of the greatest batters. De Villiers has smacked 5,162 runs in 184 matches, averaging 39.70 at an impeccable strike rate of 151.68 with 40 fifties & 3 centuries.
Up next, Mohammad Kaif has named MS Dhoni at #6, and also the wicket-keeper and the skipper of the team. Apart from four IPL titles, Dhoni has scored 4,878 runs in the IPL with an average of 39.65 striking at 135.76. West Indies' all-rounder Andre Russell has been named on #7. The explosive batter has scored 1,927 runs in 93 matches with a strike rate of 178.26.
Afghan spinner Rashid Khan & West Indies' spinner Sunil Narine, who have proved their all-round abilities at times, have been included by Mohammad Kaif in his all-time XI. Rashid Khan has picked up 101 wickets in 84 matches at an economy of 6.40. Sunil Narine on the other hand has 150 wickets in 143 IPL matches at an economy of 6.65.
And finally, Kaif has named Jasprit Bumrah & Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga in the fast bowling department. Bumrah has registered 135 wickets in 114 IPL matches till now while Lasith Malinga has registered 170 wickets in 122 IPL matches with a strike rate of 16.6.
