Mustafizur goes wicketless, Sussex lose to Surrey

The 20-year-old seamer gave away an uncharacteristic 31 runs from 3.2 overs as Surrey chased down the total of 153/6 posted by Sussex at Kennington Oval, reported a news website on Saturday.

At least 500 Bangladeshis turned up among a capacity crowd of about 24,500 to cheer youngster Mustafizur but they left disappointed.

Stroking three boundaries in the first three balls of the innings, opener Jason Roy cracked 36 off 25 balls to give Surrey a brisk start.

Earlier Craig Cachopa (45) and Chris Nash (39) helped Sussex post in excess of 150.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Cachopa smashed seven boundaries in his 34-ball innings.

Jade Dernbach and Morris bagged a couple of wickets each for Surrey.
