New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson will miss the remainder of the team's tour of England with a stress related injury
London, June 13 (IANS) New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson will miss the remainder of the team's tour of England with a stress related injury to his back.
Anderson sustained the injury in the first Test loss to England at Lord's last month and will now fly back to New Zealand, cricket.com.au reported on Friday. A MRI scan revealed a new bone stress related injury to his lumbar spine.

The 24-year-old left-hander missed New Zealand's second Test win at Leeds and Tuesday's first one-day international loss to England at Edgbaston.
"Corey has been working hard to get back to full fitness for the ODI series but he hasn't been able to overcome this injury," Black Caps coach Mike Hesson said. "We felt the best course of action was to send him back to New Zealand for further assessment."
Anderson has played 11 Tests, 35 ODIs and 15 T20 internationals for New Zealand since debuting in December in 2012 in the shortest format of the game.
