Tagged as pre-tournament favorites, India have got a hammering from Pakistan and New Zealand and are now struggling to survive in the race to semi-finals despite playing just two games out of five.

Even though fans are bashing the team left and right, former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen and Pakistan's Mohammad Amir have come in support of team India.
Pietersen, while tweeting in Hindi, and said that players are not robots and they need support all the time. Amir, on the other hand, labeled India as the best team and said fans shouldn't abuse players for a game of cricket.
