2011 World Cup Points Table

In 2011 ICC World Cup, 14 teams participated which were grouped into two groups of 7 team each - Group A & Group B.

4 teams from each group the knock out stage for Quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.

Quarter Finals

• Pakistan beat West Indies by 10 Wickets in the first Quarter Final
• India beat Australia by 5 wickets in the second Quarter Final
• New Zealand beat South Africa by 49 runs in the third Quarter Final
• Sri Lanka beat England by 10 wickets in the fourth Quarter Final

​Semi-Finals

• Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by 5 wickets
• India beat Pakistan by 29 runs in the second semi-final

India beat Sri Lanka at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai by 6 wickets to lift the trophy
