Ranji Trophy 2022: In the ongoing Group C match between Karnataka and Jammu Kashmir, J&K were bowled out for a meagre total of 93 runs. Karnataka bowler Prasidh Krishna was impeccable with the ball as he managed to send more than half of the J&K team back to the Pavillion.

26-year old Prasidh Krishna displayed an impeccable performance with the ball as he dismissed 6 Jammu & Kashmir batters. Krishna bowled a total of 12 overs, which included a maiden as the pacer gave away only 35 runs. Due to this performance by Prasidh, J&K failed to cross even the 100-run mark. Apart from Prasidh, Vidyadhar Patil picked up 2 wickets while Krishnappa Gowtham and Shreyas Gopal managed 1 wicket each.

Prasidh Krishna is enjoying his form and performances for quite some time now. In the recently concluded 3-match ODI series against West Indies, Prasidh Krishna remained as the highest wicket-taker of the series with 9 wickets in 3 matches, averaging 7.55 at an unbelievable economy of 2.50. In the 2nd ODI against Windies, Prasidh Krishna picked up 4 wickets in his 9 overs and gave away just 12 runs with 3 maidens, which remains his best bowling figure in international cricket. Prasidh Krishna was acquired by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 Auction at a massive amount of 10 crores INR.

While talking about the match, the Karnataka team was powered to a score of 302 by Mayank Agarwal's 175 after opting to bat first. In reply, Jammu & Kashmir have been restricted to a total of 93 runs inside 30 overs.
