Chasing a target of 192, Islamabad lost two wickets and scored 43 runs inside the powerplay. While Usman Khawaja could only contribute 12 off 16, wicketkeeper Muhammad Akhlaq got bowled after scoring just 1.

Munro and Ahmed then joined hands to smash the Karachi bowlers all around the park. The Kiwi opener remained not out on 88 off 56, which included 12 fours and 2 sixes, while his partner Iftikhar smashed 71 from just 39 balls with the help of five fours and as many sixes.
The two finished the 192 run-chase with eight balls spare as Islamabad moves to the top of the points table while Karachi continues to be in the mid-table with six points.
Earlier, Babar Azam smashed yet another half-century and added 117 runs from 69 balls with Afghanistan's Najibullah Zadran, who scored 71 from 42. Azam fell to teammate Hasan Ali after scored 81 off 54 as the Kings failed to end the innings on a high and lost the momentum.
