LSG vs DC IPL 2022: Quinton de Kock played a match-winning knock as he helped Lucknow Super Giants to a six-wicket win against Delhi Capitals. This match was a bit hyped because of DC's lead pacer, Anrich Nortje's return. However, de Kock smacked his compatriot for plenty to take LSG to their 3rd win in 4 matches this season.

In the powerplay, QDK took Nortje head-on and smacked him for three fours & a six. De Kock continued the onslaught and in the 14th over, de Kock faced Anrich Nortje again. On the first delivery, the ball slipped off Nortje's hand due to the dewy conditions and was a beamer above Quinton de Kock's shoulder on the off-stump line.

Quinton managed to get his bat on the ball and the pace provided by Nortje helped the ball over the fence as it cleared the third man with ease. The fielder was inside the circle and so a boundary was always on in that area.

In the same over, Nortje delivered another beamer no-ball and hence was stopped from bowling, even though he had bowled only 2.2 overs. Kuldeep Yadav came on to finish the over and after getting smacked for two consecutive fours, finally dismissed Quinton de Kock and helped create an opening for Delhi Capitals even though it wasn't utilized.
