Returning To ODI Side After 5 Years, Washington Sundar Picks 2 Wickets In 1 Over
Washington Sundar picked 2 wickets in one over in his ODI return after 4 years.
It is tough on players when they have a gap in playing two international matches. The wait for the next opportunity is always a tough time but it vanishes once the player steps on the field and immediately makes the impact.
Washington Sundar has had to face this time. Sundar made his ODI debut back in December 2017 against Sri Lanka. It was his first and last ODI until today. In between a lot of things happened, especially in the last year where he was supposed to play in various tours but couldn't because of injuries and fitness-related issues.

However, now that time has passed and Sundar stepped on the field and was given the ball inside the powerplay. He immediately got some spin and bowled two tight overs.
In the third over, Sundar got his first wicket of the match as Brandon King's attempt to play through the mid-wicket failed as Suryakumar Yadav took a diving catch.
On the last ball, Sundar's straighter one beat Darren Bravo, who got struck in front. Although the umpire gave it not out, but the third umpire asked him to reverse the decision.
