Rishabh Pant was the highest scorer in the 2nd ODI between South Africa and India, missing his well deserved century by just 15 runs. However, in the 3rd ODI, where team India are chasing a target of 288 runs to avoid the clean sweep, Pant yet again went for a shot that the fans can criticize as 'irresponsible'.

On the last delivery of the 22nd over, where Dhawan was caught out on the 2nd ball, Rishabh Pant faced his first ball. The southpaw came down the track on his very first ball, and slice it straight to cover sweeper. Rishabh looked to make room for himself while charging down the track, looking to go over extra cover, but unfortunately gets it outside off.

Virat Kohli was seen giving a disappointed look to Rishabh Pant after the dismissal.
