Pant came in to bat when India were in a spot of bother, losing their first three wickets inside the ten overs. However, the 24-year old vice-captain showed his class as he smacked 52 runs unbeaten from 28 balls, smacking 7 fours and a six.

The six smacked by Rishabh Pant was an absolute treat for anyone witnessing the game. On the first delivery of the penultimate over of the Indian batting, Jason Holder missed out on a yorker by a few inches as he delivered a highish full toss. Rishabh Pant whipped it over long-on and displayed his speciality of 'one-hand' six while also reminding us of MS Dhoni's legendary 'helicopter' shot.

While talking about the match, India posted a total of 186/5 in 20 overs after being put in to bat first, with the fifties from former captain Virat Kohli and current captain Rishabh Pant. Earlier, Kieron Pollard won the toss and opted to field first in the 2nd T20I, after losing the first T20I and being 1-0 down in the 3-match series at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
