Let's take a look at some interesting facts, trivia, and records about Rishi Dhawan:

1) Dhawan was born on 9th February 1990 in a small town of Himachal Pradesh, Mandi.

2) Dhawan's father worked as an air-conditioner mechanic. He began playing with his brother Raghav, who used to play club cricket. 

3) Rishi first came in the news when he scored 340 runs at the age of 16 in Himachal Pradesh vs Railways game in Cooch Behar Trophy in 2006. 

4) He made his first-class debut in 2009 at the age of 19 for Himachal Pradesh. Since then, Dhawan has played 59 FC games in which he has scored 2485 and taken 248 wickets. 

5) In the 2013-14 Ranji Trophy, Rishi Dhawan finished the season as the highest wicket-taker with 49 wickets. 

6) Dhawan made his IPL debut in 2013 for Mumbai Indians. He then shifted to Kings XI Punjab(now Punjab Kings) till IPL 2017. Since then, he hasn't been picked in the league. 

7) In 2016, Rishi Dhawan made his ODI vs Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground(MCG). He played three games in that series but only scored 12 runs and took one wicket. Dhawan also played one T20I game for India that year against Zimbabwe. 

8) Rishi Dhawan's last two domestic seasons have been terrific. In the 2020-21 Vijay Hazare Trophy, the all-rounder picked 16 wickets in 5 matches while in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy(SMAT), he took 9 wickets in 4 matches.

9) In the 2021-22 season, Dhawan picked 14 wickets in 6 matches in the SMAT. In VHT 2021-22, the fast bowling all-rounder took 17 wickets in 8 games and was the second-highest run-scorer of the tournament - 458 in 8 games at a strike rate of 127 and average of 76.33.
