Riyan Parag's Night Out Seals Rajasthan A 29-Run Win Over Bangalore
Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 29 runs.
A perfect outing for Riyan Parag helped Rajasthan Royals register a 29-run win against Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 39 of the IPL 2022 played at MCA Stadium, Pune.
Chasing a below-par total of 145, RCB's top order once again failed as promoted opener Virat Kohli once again got out cheaply for nine, Faf du Plessis could only make 23 while Rajat Patidar made a run-a-ball 16. Apart from the trio, Glenn Maxwell bagged a golden duck.
Bangalore managed only 37 runs in the powerplay and lost the wicket of Kohli but Kuldeep Sen's seventh over bagged two wickets of du Plessis and Maxwell on successive balls to push RCB to backfoot.
