Australia legend Shane Warne was disappointed with New Zealand since they didn't pick any spinner in the playing XI against India in the WTC Final at Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
After Kane Williamson won the toss he announced that New Zealand has picked four frontline seamers - Kyle Jamieson, Neil Wagner, Tim Southee, Trent Boult - along with Colin de Grandhomme as the fifth seamer leaving out specialist spinner Ajaz Patel.

"Conditions, with the weather around, hopefully, we can make the most of it. Saying that, wicket will be consistent throughout the game going by the cool weather. Have gone for four frontline seamers. No spinner," Williamson said during the toss.
The team selection did not go well with the former Aussie leg spinner as he took to Twitter to show his disappointment towards the playing XI. Warne, who took more than 700 test wickets, said New Zealand will be in trouble if India manages to make around 300 on the pitch which has already starting to develop footmarks.
Very disappointed in Nz not playing a spinner in the #ICCWorldTestChampionship as this wicket is going to spin big with huge foot marks developing already. Remember if it seems it will spin. India make anything more than 275/300 ! The match is over unless weather comes in !

India on the other hand has picked up two spinners - R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja - in their playing XI.
