In a nail-biting Eliminator, Royal Challengers Bangalore knocked Lucknow Super Giants out of IPL 2022 after winning the match by 14 runs at the jam-packed Eden Gardens stadium. The atmosphere of the match was overwhelming as RCB was creating another attempt to step into the finals, while the newly joined franchise LSG were trying to qualify for the final game in their debut IPL season. In this hide-out match, RCB takes an upper hand over Super Giants. Looking towards the magnitude of the game between the two IPL giants, officials enjoying the game were unable to hide their emotions & expressions.

Former Indian cricket stalwarts and officials joined the super exciting match including VVS Laxman, and Surav Ganguly to cheer for both the teams. Ganguly was seen enjoying the match and his emotions during the match were mesmerizing as he smiled and clapped.

Star batter Virat Kohli came out to open the batting with skipper Faf du Plessis and began well with a four off Chameera's overpitched delivery. The stroke played by Kohli was not just applauded by the crowd but also by Ganguly. In the viral video on social media, it can be seen by the gesture that Ganguly enjoyed the shot & was quite impressed with Kohli's wrist flick boundary on the fuller-length delivery bowled by Dushmantha Chameera during the second over of the Power Play.

Virat Kohli was looking in his zone as he added crucial 66 runs for the second wicket partnership with Rajat Patidar, however, he was soon taken away by Avesh Khan's unplayable bouncer that was caught at the third-man by Mohsin Khan. Kohli scored 25 runs in 24 balls including two boundaries.  
 
In this Eliminator, Bangalore thrashed Lucknow Super Giants' bowling attack by scoring 207/4 in 20 overs, all thanks to Rajat Patidar's scorching unbeaten knock of 112 runs of 54 deliveries, which comprised 7 sixes & 12 fours. In return, LSG fell short by 14 runs. With this Royal Challengers Bangalore stormed into the second qualifier of IPL 2022 and will take on Rajasthan Royals at Ahmedabad on Friday.
