They are in Group D and have won three consecutive matches to reach at six points. On Monday, South Africa beat Bangladesh Cricket Team in match no. 21 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York, which was a low-scoring game, and registered a very close win by just four runs. They were not in the game until the last few overs. Bangladesh were crushing towards a historic win.

That stand is now the highest 5-wicket partnership for South Africa in the T20 internationals. Miller made 29 and Klaasen scored 46 runs.
Lowest Total Defended in T20 WC: Just a day ago, India defended the target of 120 runs against Pakistan in New York and made history. But South Africa just took one day to break their record. They defended the score of 114 which is the lowest score ever defended in the history of T20 World Cups.
Lowest score Defended by SA in T20Is: This was not only the lowest total ever defended by a team in the T20 World Cup but also the lowest score that South Africa have defended in their T20I history. Their previous best was 116 against Sri Lanka in 2013.
3rd Lowest PP score for SA: Batting first, South Africa failed to score runs in the powerplay. They were at 25/4 in the first six overs. This is their third-lowest PP score in the T20 World Cups.
