In the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021, New Zealand is set to face Australia in the final on Sunday in Dubai. There was an injury update in the Kiwi camp which has devastated the team. Devon Conway, the wicketkeeper batter was ruled out of the World Cup on Wednesday (November 10).
Conway, who played a crucial part in NZ's victory against Pakistan in the 1st semi-final. The 30-year-old New Zealander played a knock of 46 runs off 38 balls with 5 fours & 1 six. He held one end of the innings with Daryl Mitchell and helped Kiwis reach the finals.

After getting out, Conway punched on his bat in frustration and broke his right hand. Due to this, he has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2021 as well as the upcoming tour of India. On Saturday (November 13), New Zealand captain Kane Williamson confirmed that Tim Seifert will replace Devon Conway in the playing XI on Sunday in the final against Australia.
