Hasan Ali always remains in the news be it for his celebrations, his dropped catches, and now even for his bowling speed. After a low of T20 World Cup semifinal, Ali has come back hard in the 1st T20I against Bangladesh.
Ali not only got a wicket on the very first ball of his spell but welcomed the next batter - Shanto - with the fastest recorded delivery in cricket history - 219 kmphs.

Although it was a fast delivery that beat Shanto's bat speedometer probably made it faster than it actually was. The 136 mph delivery overtook Shaun Tait and Shoaib Akhtar's 100 mphs or 160 kmph balls that were recorded earlier.

Despite it being a technical error, Hasan Ali was on song today as he took three wickets in four overs and conceded just 22 runs as Pakistan restricted Bangladesh on 127/7.
