New Zealand with the help of their batters were able to post 158/7 against Australia in the warm-up match of T20 World Cup 2021. For NZ, captain Williamson scored 37 off 30 with 5 fours and was the highest scorer. Neesham and Guptill also crossed the 30-run mark. Daryl Mitchell also scored 30 off 22 with 4 fours & 1 six before getting out retired hurt.

For Australia, Kane Richardson picked up 3 wickets, while Adam Zampa picked up 2 wickets. Starc and Agar picked up 1 scalp each.

However, in the first ball of Australian innings, Warner charged down the track, looked to drive and got an edge for the fielder to take a stunner. However, The flying Kiwi - Guptill - took a blinder flying to his left and taking a one-handed beaut.
With this, David Warner's bad run continues after he failed to perform in the first phase of IPL and was removed from SRH captaincy. He didn't get to play a single game in the second leg.
