All-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the India tour of England and has now become the third player from the 24-member squad to suffer an injury.
Sundar, along with Avesh Khan, were playing in the ongoing 1st warm-up game in Durham. Both were playing for the County Select XI side against India at the request of the England board after they failed to gather 11 local players.

Khan, a fast bowler, suffered a blow to the thumb after being struck by Hanuma Vihari's shot on Day 1. He didn't take the field on the second day of the game.
Sundar came into bat at number 4 for the County XI side and got out off Mohammed Siraj's delivery on Day 2. The details of the injury are yet to be known but a report in the Times of India suggests that the all-rounder has injured his finger.
Earlier, Shubman Gill was also ruled out of the England test series due to an injury in the leg. He has now returned to India.
The five-match Test series is scheduled to begin from 4th August in Trent Bridge.
