Watch: Ben McDermott Smashes Six To Reach BBL Century

Ben McDermott smashed six to reach his second BBL century.

Scoring a T20 century is one of the toughest things to do and while chasing is a rare achievement to unlock. It was that kind of day for Hobart Hurricanes' Ben McDermott where everything went right for him. 

In the 22nd match of the Big Bash League(BBL), the Hurricanes were chasing 176 runs. McDermott gave a terrific start to the run-chase despite losing Mathew Wade early. He along with D'Arcy Short smashed 81 runs in the next ten overs. 

Ben was hitting the ball hard and reached 98 runs in 57 balls. In the 19th over, McDermott got a juicy full toss down the leg and his well-set eyes smashed the ball into the stands to bring up his second BBL century.

McDermott remained not out on 110 in 60 balls with the help of 12 fours and five sixes and helped Hurricanes chase down 176 with nine balls to spare.
