WATCH: Bhuvneshwar Kumar Cleans Up In Form Rassie Van Der Dussen For 1 Run

Rassie van der Dussen, who scored an unbeaten 75 runs off 46 balls in the first T20I, was dismissed for just 1 run in 7 deliveries in the 2nd T20I.

IND vs SA 2nd T20I: Rassie van der Dussen wreaked havoc on the Indian bowling in the 1st T20I after he was dropped by Shreyas Iyer, leading South Africa to a win along with David Miller. In the 2nd T20I however, Bhuvneshwar Kumar showed his magic with the new ball as he cleaned up the in-form batter inside the powerplay.

After being restricted to a total of 148/6 in 20 overs, the Indian team needed to start strong in the second innings with early wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the experienced Indian bowler, showed up as he grabbed two wickets in his first two overs inside the powerplay - Reeza Hendricks (4) in the first over and Dwaine Pretorius (4) in the 3rd over.

Rassie van der Dussen came on to bat at #4 and Bhuvneshwar bowled his 3rd over inside the powerplay as he came on to bowl the 6th over. Dussen was on strike with only 1 run off the 6 deliveries he had faced. On the second ball of the over, Bhuvi bowled a back of a length delivery and the ball nipped back in.

Van der Dussen seemed rooted in his crease and played it down the wrong line as the delivery beat the inside edge of his bat and went on to hit the top of off stumps. Earlier, South African captain Temba Bavuma won the toss & opted to bowl first against India in the 2nd T20I. Team Indian managed to post 148/6 in 20 overs with Shreyas Iyer's 40 and Ishan Kishan's 34. This match is being played at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack.
