One of the most cliched lines in sport is "class is permanent". But it's a cliche because it's true. Brett Lee was one of the most dangerous fast bowlers during his time in his international career.

Lee's speed and accuracy had every batter in trouble even when he was in the final stage of his career. Even after more than seven years after his retirement from all forms of cricket, Lee can still nail the accuracy part that made him the bowler he was.

He showed his class against India Maharajas in the 6th match of the Legends League Cricket(LLC) while playing for World Giants. India needed 8 runs from the final over to chase down 229 runs.

Irfan Pathan, who had already smashed 56 runs in just 20 balls, was at the strike partnered by Rajat Bhatia(11 off 7) at the other end.
Lee had decided to bowl the wide line for the batters to chase. His first ball went for a wide but on the following ball, Pathan decided to go hard and skyed the ball. Morne Morkel had to run forward to take a brilliant high catch to get the danger man out.

On the next ball, Bhatia tried to hit the ball over the sweeper cover. Even though the catch was dropped but Bhatia was off the strike. Brett Lee kept bowling his next four deliveries towards the wide line and the Indian batters couldn't even touch the ball.
