He came into bat in the 18th over after a wicket had just fallen on the first ball of the over. On the fourth ball, Braithwaite took guard to face his first delivery of the game. He immediately switched on his attacking intent and skyed the ball only to get caught.

It was a poor attacking for Braithwaite with the bat but the allrounder hoped to do something with the ball. However, in his four overs, Braithwaite could not pick a wicket in his four overs and conceded 31 runs.

To top the poor day out for the West Indian star, Braithwaite's car also got stolen.
