While the Indians are rejoicing in the domestic T20 extravaganze, the Indian Premier League, an exciting Indo-Pak faceoff took place in England. India's Mr Dependable Cheteshwar Pujara faced off against Pakistan's pace sensation Shaheen Afridi, and moreover smacked the pacer for a six.

In the LV= Insurance County Championship match between Sussex and Middlesex, the former were in a spot of bother in the third innings after losing both the openers for a duck. Cheteshwar Pujara, who has been in an excellent form in this ongoing county championship in England with huge scores to his name, came out to bat at #4.

Pujara faced off against Pakistan's left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi and on the 5th delivery Pujara was facing, sent the short ball on the outside off stump line for a six. The 34-year old Indian test batter displayed a well-timed uppercut to smack a six. 

Cheteshwar Pujara went unsold in the IPL 2022 mega auction and hence, isn't participating in the ongoing IPL 2022. While Shaheen Afirid, who single-handedly shattered the Indian top-order batting lineup in the T20 World Cup 2021, is playing for Middlesex.

While talking about the match, Sussex scored 392 runs in the first innings with Tom Alsop scoring 113 runs. In reply, Middlesex were bowled out for 358 as Ollie Robinson registered 5 wickets to his name. While writing this piece, Cheteshwar Pujara is still on the crease with 41 runs in 57 balls, partnered by Tom Alsop (38*) on the crease.
