Batter scooped, the ball struck keeper's helmet, keeper reacted to quickly to grab a stunning catch.
Every day in the T20 Blast there is at least one incident that happens that leaves everyone amazed. During yesterday's matchday, Dane Vilas provided that awe moment to the viewers when he picked a splendid catch to get Ben Duckett out.
During Lancashire vs Nottinghamshire match, Duckett was looking good during his 29-run inning in 20 balls that included four fours. On the last ball of the ninth over, Duckett decided to scoop Tom Hartley's delivery.

While Duckett did connect the ball, it didn't go where he intended it to be. The ball didn't change the direction and struck wicketkeeper Dane Vilas, who was beginning to stand. However, the ball struck Vilas' helmet and changed it direction while being in the air. Vilas was quick to react to where the ball actually went and charged towards and could only complete the catch by diving forward.
It was a remarkable recovery considering how Vilas was in the opposite direction of the ball and had to make quick decisions to get to the ball.
All part of the master plan, @danevilas…
