IND vs SA 3rd T20I: The last T20I between India and South Africa is being played at Holkar Stadium, Indore. In this match, the Proteas' batters brutally thrashed the Indian bowlers, but an incident was witnessed amidst this where young batter Tristan Stubbs was given a lifeline. A video of the same has surfaced and gone viral on the internet.

In the past days, there were a lot of heated talks regarding Deepti Sharma's run-out of Charlie Dean in the 3rd ODI between India and England women. While India completed a clean sweep with the run-out, the experts were left divided on this dismissal. In the 16th over of the South African batting, Tristan Stubbs had wandered away from the crease before Deepak Chahar bowled the delivery. Deepak didn't complete the delivery and was seen warning the batter.

During this incident, Tristan Stubbs was seen as highly nervous and terrified with this close call, as Deepak Chahar could've easily run him out. However, Deepak didn't go on with the runout and showed a big heart as he gave the 22-year-old Tristan Stubbs another chance. Amidst this, Tristan Stubbs was seen owning to his mistake and apologizing to Deepak Chahar.

Earlier, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss & opted to field first against South Africa in the 3rd T20I after which visitors South Africa piled on runs. Rilee Rossouw finally opened his T20I run account in India with an unbeaten 100 runs off 48 balls while opener Quinton de Kock contributed with 68 runs, powering South Africa to 227 runs in 20 overs. India needs to chase down a mammoth 228 runs to complete a 3-0 whitewash against South Africa.
