WATCH: Hardik Pandya Crunches Two Fours After Getting Rattled By Umran Malik's Speedy Bouncer
Umran Malik's bowling speed didn't affect Hardik Pandya despite getting hit on the head.
Umran Malik is fast. Umran clocks the fastest delivery of the IPL every time he comes to bowl for SRH. He has already broken the 153 kmph speed barrier for the 2022 season and isn't stopping.
Umran Malik's speed also becomes his weakness due to inaccurate lines and lengths. But that's just a give and take of the raw pace he possesses at just 22 years of age.

On the first ball of his spell today against Gujarat Titans, Umran Malik bowled a perfect bouncer to Hardik Pandya. The ball had speed, was on the off stump, and right on the shoulder/chin height.
The speed caught Pandya by surprise and crashed into his helmet. Pandya was rattled that even Umran had to apologise for bowling a perfect bouncer.
However, Pandya shook it off rather quickly. On the very next ball, Pandya cracked an off drive for a boundary. It was a perfect punch from the front foot on a ball that was on a good length. A textbook drive.
The next delivery was back of the length bowled around the off-stump. Pandya read the ball quickly and crunched a perfectly timed pull shot towards mid-wicket for a four.
