Team India captain Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed after scoring 58 runs off 74 balls with 7 fours in the 3rd ODI against West Indies.

However, team India isn't taking things lightly in the 3rd match which is a 'dead rubber', as the Indian openers added more than 100 runs for the first wicket. Where the Windies pacers failed, spinner Hayden Walsh Jr. provided the opening breakthrough for the hosts.
Captain Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill provided an excellent start for team India as these two added 113 runs in 22.4 overs. The openers made a steady start and kept going strong as both of the batters completed their half-centuries. With these two going steady at the crease, team India was put on track for a mammoth total.

Both openers were playing off the Windies bowlers with ease until the 23rd over. Spinner Hayden Walsh Jr. came to bowl this over. Dhawan seemed to have trouble reading the wrong ones delivered by Walsh.
On the 5th delivery of the 23rd over, Hayden Walsh Jr. delivered another wrong un against Dhawan. The Indian skipper came down the pitch and was completely undone as the ball spun across him. Dhawan was looking to flick but ended up playing across the line. Closed the bat-face and the leading edge went nowhere. West Indies skipper Nicholas Pooran settled under, went reverse cup and held on to an easy catch. Dhawan was dismissed after scoring 58 runs off 74 balls with 7 fours.
