WATCH: High Voltage Drama Over No-Ball; Rishabh Pant Calls DC Batters Back
DC vs RR saw Rishabh Pant calling back his batters after the umpires didn't give a no-ball in the last over.
DC was on the road to an improbable steal in the final over when they needed 36 runs in the last over of the game to chase down 223. Rovman Powell smacked three sixes on the first three balls of the over.

However, on the third ball, Obed McCoy had bowled a waist-high full toss. Although Powell had launched the ball into the stands, the Delhi Capitals dugout began to question the legality of the delivery.
DC players were adamant that it was above the waist no-ball while the umpires, including Nitin Menon, were adamant about the decision. While on the pitch, Kuldeep Yadav and Rovman Powell kept arguing with the umpires, the DC dugout stood up and talked to the third and fourth umpires.
Delhi wanted the umpires to recheck the no-ball. However, the umpires didn't want to go upstairs. Captain Rishabh Pant was furious with the decision and even gestured to call back Rovman Powell and Kuldeep Yadav.
Shane Watson controlled Pant but the captain sent DC's assistant coach Pravin Amre to the ground to talk to the umpire. Amre ran to the ground but umpires didn't listen to any of DC's pleas regarding the issue.

The drama went nearly five minutes before the play once again resumed with DC needing 18 in three balls. The nerves had settled for McCoy and he delivered three brilliant deliveries and didn't let Powell steal the game away from Rajasthan Royals.
"I thought that no-ball could have been precious for us but it is not in my control. Yes, disappointed but can't do much about it. Everyone was frustrated (in the dugout) that it was not even close, everyone in the ground saw that, I think the third umpire should have interfered and said it was a no-ball," Rishabh Pant said post-match.

"Obviously it wasn't right (sending Amre onto the field) but what happened with us is also not right, it happened in the heat of the moment. It was the fault from both sides and it is disappointing as we have seen some good umpiring in the tournament," the DC captain added.
